The next in the series of Winter Talks organized by the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket will be held via ZOOM on 28 November starting at 1900.

“An Evening with Tony Cordle” will feature an online talk with the fast bowler, who now lives in Canada and was a member of Glamorgan’s Championship-winning team in 1969 as well as appearing in the 1977 Gillette Cup Final at Lord’s.

During the talk, Tony will be reflecting on his career with the Welsh county which began in 1963. One of his finest moments came in 1969 when, during a remarkable game at Colwyn Bay, Tony recorded a career-best 9-49 against Leicestershire at the Rhos-on-Sea ground, but only after coming on as seventh change!

During the 1970`s Tony developed into a fine all-rounder in limited-overs cricket, making useful contributions with both bat and ball. In 1979 Tony took a hat-trick in the Sunday League match against Hampshire at Portsmouth, whilst in 1974 he shared a record partnership of 87 for the ninth wicket with Malcolm Nash in the Gillette Cup match against Lincolnshire at Swansea.
